Within each of us is a poem;
a thin slice of peace,
when in a flash of an instant
all the words are placed perfectly
in the mind.
Your mind’s eye has seen it,
and perhaps for that instant,
you feel it.
But the mind is quicker than the hand and
the perfect thought is lost.

To pause;
to expand time,
and give your hand time
to write is a gift we each have,
if we choose to accept it.
I invite you to pause.
Write.
