“Do you have a burning desire? I’m not talking about just a “want” or an “it would sure be nice to have.” I am talking about that one thing that may be smoldering at the depths of your being. In the depth of your soul. What is it? What “was” it? Do you have a firm grasp of it? Where did it go? Can that burning desire be rekindled?”

These thoughts are taken from the classic book, “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. While it was published in the 1930’s and speaks primarily to monitory wealth, the points it makes speak to any burning desire.

“People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive. That’s what it’s all finally about, and that’s what these clues help us to find within ourselves.” – Joseph Campbell
